Description
THE DIVISION BELL (bootleg reissue)
This reissue is pressed on stunning blue vinyl that has a marbled effect. Being a bootleg you cannot expect top level sound quality and should be owned for its collectibility and rarity.
Visual grading
Unlike many of these boots this one has been played and you can see a few hairlines and a handful of fine scratch marks that do affect the audio to a degree as described below. However, the marbled blue vinyl is stunning to the eye and should be owned more to look at than be played!
Play grading
'Cluster One' plays extremely well for such a quiet track with some crackle at the beginning and at the end. The remainder of the side overall plays very well with some light static here and there and a handful of soft clicks.
'Take It Back' on Side Two plays with some intermittent crackle but the audio remains clear and plays well. Again the remaining tracks plays with a little light light static here and there but for a bootleg the audio is very good and is still a good listen.
Gatefold cover
This gatefold is in excellent condition and the edges and wide spine are very clean indeed. The back cover does have some noticeable creasing on the top and bottom left hand sides and a few other minor marks. The inside of the gatefold is in superb shape. Lyric inner
The lyric inner is in excellent condition with only minor creasing.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
I would grade the vinyl as Ex-
