Description
THE FINAL CUT A-1U / B-2U (very first pressing)
This rare A1/B2 pressing is in excellent condition that plays extremely well and has very little handling wear to the cover. Also included is the original polylined black inner sleeve.
Visual grading
Under a bright light this record is in very clean condition. Side One has only a couple of very faint hairlines that do not affect the audio. Side Two has a couple of more noticeable hairlines although very small but again they have no bearing on the sound quality.
Play grading
'The Post War Dream' plays with a a few light clicks but is not obtrusive. Other than that there is no background static and sounds very clear. The audio thereafter is of a very high quality with almost no background noise, just a little static here and there which you expect of a vinyl of 33 years of age. For the majority though there is no interference at all and the audio has a superb depth and resonance. 'The Gunners Dream', a personal favourite, plays superbly well with barely any static, just one click literally at the end. A lot of the tracks on this side are very quiet so it is impressive that the audio retains its quality in the way it does.
Side Two begins with no lead in static at all, impeccable sound. The whole side has wonderful audio with only the lightest of intermittent static and again for so many quiet sections the audio has impressive depth and clarity. It certainly has great audio for a first press and has no skips or jumps obviously. One of the best I have heard in quite a while.
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in excellent shape with only minimal handling wear. There are a couple of small marks on the front and slight rubbing to the corners. The edges remain very clean with almost no shelf wear and the opening edge has no handling wear. The spine has very light rubbing towards the top but remains 100% legible. The inside and reverse side are in great condition with no wear at all and as can be seen the original sticker is still on the front.
Labels
Practically as new they only have the slightest of spindle wear.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
