PINK FLOYD THE FINAL CUT VINYL LP FIRST PRESS A5/B2 NEAR MINT- STUNNING VINYL

Description

This first issue of The Final Cut (A5/B2) has been extremely well looked after.  Under an intense light I can only detect a couple of very faint wispy hairlines that I am sure were only caused due to the record being removed from the sleeve.  I would say the vinyl has hardly been played, it looks that good.  The sound is of top quality and is crisp and clear - excellent for over 30 years old.  I have played it from beginning to end and Side One plays fantastically well with hardly any crackle at all, I just heard one small pop.  Side Two also plays extremely well with just a little background crackle at the beginning and a couple of pops.  The remainder of the side plays as new it is that good.  A5/B2 pressings are also considered as first issues of this LP.
The gatefold cover is in excellent condition and has the original sticker on the front.  There is only slight rubbing on the corners and minor shelf wear on the bottom edge.  The inside of the gatefold is also in excellent shape with only a couple of small creases.  This pressing does not have the original black inner sadly.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.
Catalogue number SHPF 1983 A-5U-1-2- TML-S / B-2U-1-5- TML-M
Side One is Near Mint-
Side Two is Ex++
The labels are Mint (no spindle wear)

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Please pay within 4 days of auction end.

I ONLY SEND ITEMS TO ITALY, RUSSIA AND SOUTH AMERICA "SIGNED FOR" AS TOO MANY ITEMS GO MISSING AND COSTS AN ADDITIONAL £6.00.  PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS.

I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE COSTS IF MORE THAN ONE ITEM IS WON / DOUBLE LPs COUNT AS TWO RECORDS.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS.  THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.

I WILL LEAVE FEEDBACK AS SOON AS I RECEIVE FEEDBACK - SO I KNOW THE ITEM WAS RECEIVED SAFELY AND THAT YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT :-)

In the coming weeks and months I will be putting plenty of Queen, Pink Floyd, Genesis and Marillion items on the site so please keep a look out!  Many thanks.  Please look at my other items on now!
