THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S RAREST LPs EVER AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!)  IT HAS AN AMAZING MISPRINT ON THE REVERSE COVER BACK WITH MONO 'WARNING TEXT' (SEE PHOTO!) AT THE BOTTOM OF THE REVERSE - WHEREAS AT THE TOP IT SAYS STEREO!

On offer another RARITY by Pink Floyd, the LP titled “THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN” and this is an early Pressing on the RARE black Columbia label! THE VINYL IS VISUALLY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

THIS ISSUE IS CHARACTERISIED BY THE BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL WITH TWO SILVER TEXT, WHITE EMI LOGOS IN SMALL RECTANGLES AT THE BOTTOM AND TOP, AND WHITE “COLUMBIA” IN LARGE RECTANGLE”.  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK STEREO ON THE RARE “MADE IN GT BRITAIN” COLUMBIA LABELS AND “GARROD & LOFTHOUSE” STEREO COVER WITH THE RARE MISSPRINT WARNING IN THE BACK! 

THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND REALLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS SO DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY! 

The record also comes with the “Garrod & Lofthouse” laminated cover. The front cover is in excellent condition, very shiny laminate, and NO writing! just some creases and some corner wear. The back is beautifully printed in near mint condition wit ring wear.

The spine is in excellent condition with some dents and fully readable.

The record labels are in excellent condition and have two EMI box Black Columbia label with silver text, white EMI logo in small rectangle at top and bottom, and white "Columbia" in large rectangle at top.

The EMI protective inner is in excellent condition.

Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint            

Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.

Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent              

Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.

Disc- The record has been played and may have some superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good             

Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.

Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good      

Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.

Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler

If the bidding exceeds £39, in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £7. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5.7 insurance in addition to the p&p.
