Description

Pink Floyd ?– The Wall

Label: Harvest ?– SHDW 411 Format: 2 × Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, Gatefold
Country: UK Released: 30 Nov 1979 Genre: Rock Style: Prog Rock, Art Rock

RARE 1st UK pressing with picture labels in gatefold sleeve SHDW 411!
Absolutely one of the BEST ALBUMS of all time ( in my humble opinion)! Also included with this particular piece is the super RARE original UK plastic sticker that adheres to the sleeve, but is not permanently stuck on.

Inner sleeves also feature the "Wall" design with lyrics (graphics by Gerald Scarfe). 1st issues have the rounded corners as this one does.

The track order on the inners is not the same as featured on the album.

No bar code on the back cover.

The Wall is cream colored, not true white. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover on the outside or inside.

Absolutely brilliant mastering on these original UK 1st's done at The Mastering Lab (Los Angeles, CA, USA). Indicated by TML- in the deadwax.

Barcode and Other Identifiers

  • Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 1): SHSP 4112 A-3U TML-S
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, variant 1): SHSP 4111 B-2U TML-M
  • Matrix / Runout (Side C runout, variant 1): SHSP 4112 A-3U TML-X
  • Matrix / Runout (Side D runout, variant 1): SHSP 4112 B-3U TML-M M is scratched out X is hand etched

Sleeve: VG+ Has a bump on the bottom right corner and some slight ringwear but still a very presentable copy. Labels are clean and with no writing.

Vinyl: VG+ Some hairlines and a few light scratches but looks and plays great with limited distortion.

A great original 1st UK issue Floyd album that is getting harder and harder to come across!!
