On offer here is a very rare Box Set (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called 'The First XI' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1979 1st pressing on the 1st Press Harvest label!!!! THIS 11/LP BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST PINK FLOYD ITEMS EVER RELEASED AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  ONLY A 1000 OF THESE WERE EVER PRESSED AND NATURALLY THEY VIRTUALLY NEVER TURN UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS BOX SET EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT CONTAINS 2 PICTURE DISCS THAT WERE NEVER EVER RELEASED ELSEWHERE AND WERE ONLY EVER MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THIS BOX SET!!!!  AND IT IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT NO PART OF THIS BOX SET HAS BEEN 'SWAPPED' OR 'CHANGED' IN ANY RESPECT!!!!  AND THIS IS VERY EASY TO VERIFY!!!!  FIRSTLY THE INNERS TO ALL THE LPS HAVE THE CORRECT LATE 1978 DATE CODES ON EVERY INNER SLEEVE (APART FROM 'ANIMALS' AND 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' WHICH OF COURSE HAVE THEIR OWN 'PICTURE/LYRIC' INNER SLEEVES).  AND SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE 2 PICTURE DISC LPS HAVE THEIR OWN 'UNIQUE' CAT NUMBER WHICH APPEARED ON ALL PARTS OF THOSE 2 PICTURE DISC LPS!!!!  AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK THIS AS THE COVERS WITH THESE 2 PICTURE DISC LPS WERE ONLY EVER MADE FOR THESE LPS AND ARE AS RARE AS THE PICTURE DISCS THEMSELVES!!!!  IN THIS CASE THE 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' PICTURE DISC LP (WHICH IS 100% COMPLETE WITH 2 POSTERS & 2 STICKERS) HAS THE CORRECT PICTURE DISC 'SHVLP 804' CAT NUMBER ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER (SEE PICTURE), AND THE INNER SLEEVE HAS A SPECIAL UNIQUE STICKER (SEE PICTURE) WITH THE 'SHVLP 804' CAT NUMBER & 'ONLY AVAILABLE IN THIS BOX SET' TEXT!!!!  AND THE 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' PICTURE DISC LP HAS THE CORRECT PICTURE DISC 'SHVLP 814' CAT NUMBER ON THE 'PICTURE' INNER SLEEVE (SEE PICTURE), AND COVER (WHICH IS STILL FULLY SEALED RIGHT TO THE OPENING EDGE) HAS A SPECIAL UNIQUE STICKER (SEE PICTURE) WITH 'PICTURE DISC' TEXT & 'ONLY AVAILABLE IN THIS BOX SET' TEXT!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS BOX SET IS IN SUPERB CONDITION!!!!  EVERY LP HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE AT THE VERY MOST (AND SOME HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL), AND EVERY COVER IS SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!  THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1979 UK 1ST PRESSING WITH A FULL SET OF 11 LPS (INCLUDING 2 UNIQUE PICTURE DISCS), 1ST PRESS CORRECT INNER SLEEVES FOR EVERY LP, 1ST PRESS COVERS (EXACTLY CORRECT TO DATE OF THIS BOX SET) FOR EVERY LP, 1ST PRESS INNER LP HOLDING CASE, AND 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' OUTER BOX!!!!  THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL 1979 Harvest UK 1st Pressing and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record labels to ALL records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL (some have NONE at all)!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY EVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (AND SOME HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED)!!!! The vinyl to ALL records is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these Box Set LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and ALL records have NO scratches, NO hairlines (apart from a couple of absolute ULTRA faint hairline traces on a couple of the LPs - probably from initial insertion at the factory), only 1 ULTRA faint wispy scuffline on 'Meddle' (NONE on ANY of the other LPs), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  ALL THE RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK SUPERB!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  They play with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and only some VERY slight VERY low level crackle (in a VERY few places) on a few of the LPs (though I as these LPs have barely been played AT ALL and in some cases UNPLAYED - I am absolutely certain this will clear after a few plays!)!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records grade individually between FULL Excellent and MINT(Minus) and EVERY record is of a VERY high standard indeed!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! All records also come in their ORIGINAL Inner sleeves!!!!  ALL the covers are in AWESOME condition!!!!  They have NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (all the covers are INCREDIBLY flat looking), the laminated covers have PERFECT shiny laminate and all the covers have NO grubbyness and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are all beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  The covers must grade between Excellent+ and MINT (and some look like they have literally just left the factory!!!!)!!!!  The 1st Press 'Textured' Outer Box is in STUNNING condition - with only one thing to mention (see below)!!!!  It still retains a PERFECT box shape and ALL the corners have NO splits and NO damage!!!!  There is NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO writing, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  However it is important to note that the previous owner was ULTRA careful with this box set and covered both the outer box and the holding case with clear plastic to protect it.  In my opinion this is NOT a big detraction AT ALL and it has certainly done its job in protecting the box set PERFECTLY!!!!  And perhaps with the right knowledge it may even be possible to remove this.  However I personally would leave it well alone - as it certainly doesnt detract much AT ALL and will certainly protect the Outer Box & Holding Case for many years to come!!!!  It is certainly a hard one to grade (as it is almost certainly MINT under the clear plastic) - but I will grade the Outer Box & Holding Case Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!  THIS AMAZING BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
