This is the rare UK 1st Press of 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd. This genuine 1st has the rare one piece gatefold sleeve, with only one seam one the top inside edge and the last position Roger Waters credit. It is complete with the early A2/B3/A1/B5 matrix, the 1st press die-cut curved edge card inner sleeves and the front cover sticker. However what makes this press so particularly special is the condition of the vinyl, it is in absolutely sensational condition.

The records are both in Near Mint condition. The vinyl looks incredible, every track gleams. You can twist and turn this record under a strong light and the only flaws are just a couple of the faintest hairlines from the cardboard iner sleeve. It is fabulus condition. As such it sounds fantastic. This record has only been played a couple of times at most. The labels are immaculate, the colours and text are bold and there is no spindle wear. On playing the sound is warm, vibrant and crystal clear.

The 1st press die-cut curved edge inner sleeves are in Near Mint condition. The cream is extremely bright, the text is unworn and the edges are exceptionally firm. They are also in fabulous condition.

The 1st press matt gatefold sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The creamy white is bright and the lines are sharp. The inside looks sensational just like the day it was pressed. The edges are extremely firm, there is only very light ring and opening edge wear. The acetate 'Pink Floyd The Wall' sticker is in great shape, it is bright and completely clean with just a light corner crease. The spine is very firm and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
