Description
This is the original UK LP by PINK FLOYD, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, 1st Press, stereo, released in 1973 on RARE WITHDRAWN SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE label SHVL 804, with the "Gramophone Co.Ltd" rim label credit's, and "The Gramophone Company Limted" label credits with the (p) credit. Matrix numbers are, side 1:- SHVL 804 A-2. side 2:- SHVL 804 B-2, stamping codes are, side 1:- 7/GRO, side 2:- 4/GGL. This RARE 1st Press comes complete with the black inner sleeve, two stickers, and two posters.
The original 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover is in a strong EX condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits, minimal wear.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING EX+++/NEAR MINT condition, maintaining all it's original shine and lustre, possibly been played 1-3 times maximum, STUNNING condition.
The RARE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE label's are in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole is tight and crisp, shoeing little or no wear, consistant with the SUPERB condition of the vinyl.
The black inner sleeve is in VG+++ condition, lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
The two posters are in MINT- condition, the two stickers are in EX+++ condition, only a little creasing to one of the corners.
Altogether a superb copy of this original UK 1st press LP by PINK FLOYD, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, with the RARE WITHDRAWN SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE label's.
