LABELS: Clean, bright and unmarked with light/moderate spindle traces - this copy has been played but not over-played and it has also been extremely well cared for
VINYL Visual: Both records retain their original deep, glossy sheen with just a few superficial light marks none of which have any real audio consequence
VINYL Audio: Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an amazing dynamic range from the smallest, almost silent details to the loudest crescendos (which makes it difficult to find early pressings which will play without excessive clicks/pops and/or surface noise - but this copy plays extremely well - especially record two which is one of the cleanest I have heard). On playback at a loud volume there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps and the sound quality is sensational throughout - crystal clear, rich, strong and vibrant and apart from some light 'ticks' (not continuous) on the quiet first section of 'Set The Controls...' and the occasional isolated 'pop', both LPs play beautifully and to a very high standard with great clarity, no distortion and no groove-wear. (none of these 'ticks' or 'pops' are at all major and I did not find them at all intrusive on play-grading this masterpiece and I did play it very loud). Critically graded a very, very strong EXCELLENT (record one) and EXCELLENT+ (record two) for audio this is a very nice copy indeed
SLEEVE: The original outer laminated EJ DAY gatefold cover is also in great condition with virtually no wear to speak of on the edges or thick spine - where all text is clear and bold. The outer laminated surfaces have a deep, glass-like gloss with just a little record impression (not ring wear) and the unlaminated inside is clean and fresh. Graded a very, very strong EXCELLENT (if not better) this is a very fine example of this first issue gatefold
Both poly-lined Harvest inner sleeves are also in excellent condition with no splits - the records will be posted in new inners to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the originals during transit
