Description
For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "Wish you were here" album. This is an American pressing from CBS records. It has been mastered from the original recordings at half speed which enhances clarity and the whole musicality of the album.
Suffice to say that these half speed mastered copies turn up quite rarely, and attract much interest when they do. The sound quality is at least as good as the 1st UK press A1/B3 copies, and not a million miles behind the legendary status of the Nimbus supercut copies. A nice album to have if you love your Floyd!
I will give a detailed description of each part, but please note, this is a visual assessment only.
The cover:
Original and genuine cream card cover, only very very lightly discoloured over time. A very solid clean example.
Conservative grading is a healthy Ex.
Inner sleeve:
Really nice example of the polythene and rice paper inner. So important to keep the vinyl away from the hard card cover, guilty of so many marks on other editions. Light creasing. No splits tears or damage. Very clean inner indeed. The mastering process inly card is also present and in exceptionally good condition.
I grade the inner sleeve and inlay information card as a strong Ex
The labels:
The labels are free from any damage. No marks. Exceptional.
I grade the labels as Ex+.
The vinyl:
Really the vinyl is in lovely condition for its age. Has a small handful of extremely light hairlines to both sides, nothing that should impair the audio reproduction. They are only visible under extreme angled lighting, so nothing to worry about.
As this is a visual appraisal only, I grade as a solid Ex.
As a complete and original CBS mastersound half speed mastered copy of this iconic album, I highly recommend it to the most discerning of buyers.

If an overseas ebayer wants this, please contact me before bidding to discuss postal options. I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway.
I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve.
All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit.
I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing.
