On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd (& others) called "Zabriskie Point" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing on the 1st Press MGM label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  AND, NOT ONLY DOES THIS LP FEATURE PINK FLOYD - BUT IT ALSO FEATURES THE YOUNGBLOODS, GRATEFUL DEAD, KALEIDOSCOPE, AND OTHERS!!!!  IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST LP THAT PINK FLOYD EVER APPEARED ON AND SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND WAS 'WITHDRAWN' SOON AFTER RELEASE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO IMPOSSIBLY RARE!!!!

WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - MGM RELEASES WERE BEING PRESSED BY EMI.  AS A RESULT 1ST PRESSINGS WERE RELEASED WITH FLIPBACK COVERS, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND THICK QUALITY EMI VINYL!!!!  HOWEVER THERE WAS A PROBLEM!!!!  ON ALL 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ONE OF THE TRACKS WAS ACTUALLY 'CUT' BADLY CAUSING COMPLAINTS AND PLAYING PROBLEMS!!!!  YOU MAY SAY - HOW COULD EMI MAKE SUCH A MISTAKE?  WELL TAKE FOR EXAMPLE THE MOVES 2ND LP 'SHAZAM' ON REGAL ZONOPHONE (RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS ONE!) WHICH WAS ALSO PRESSED BY EMI (IT TOO HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM!).  ANY 1ST PRESSING OF 'SHAZAM' BY THE MOVE JUMPS & STICKS REPEATLY (I THINK FROM MEMORY ON SIDE 2) ON EVERY 1ST PRESSING I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED (I HAVE NEVER FOUND 1 THAT PLAYED PROPERLY!)!!!!  PLEASE CHECK THIS IF YOU HAVE ONE - AS I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED TO KNOW IF A MOVE 'SHAZAM' ACTUALLY EXISTS IN PERFECT PLAYING CONDITION!!!!  ANYWAY - BACK TO THIS LP!!!!  THE TRACK IN QUESTION ON THIS LP WITH A 'CUTTING PROBLEM' WAS 'HEART BEAT, PIG MEAT'.  THE GROOVES WERE CUT FAR TOO CLOSE TOGETHER AND 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD A TENDENCY TO 'JUMP' OR PLAY VERY BADLY (USUALLY WITH DISTORTION ON THE HEAVY BASS NOTES).  THE TRACK FEATURES A CONSISTENT PUMPING 'HEARTBEAT' AND DUE TO ABOVE MENTIONED 'CUTTING ERROR' VIRTUALLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING FEATURED DISTORTION, AND OFTEN MULTIPLE JUMPS THROUGHOUT THE TRACK.  THIS PROBLEM MEANT THERE WERE LOADS OF COMPLAINTS & RETURNS - AND ACTUALLY CAUSED THE LP TO BE WITHDRAWN IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE!!!!  BUT THIS LP AMAZINGLY HAS NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS AND IS THE BEST PLAYING 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!  IN FACT, THIS IS THE FIRST, 1ST PRESSING THAT I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT PLAYS SUPERBLY ALL THE WAY THROUGH BOTH SIDES!!!!  AND NOT ONLY DOES THIS LP PLAYS SUPERBLY - BUT IT LOOKS AMAZING TOO AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT THIS 1ST PRESSING IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - AND IS ONE OF THE RAREST PINK FLOYD RELATED LPS EVER TO BE RELEASED!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS MGM LABELS, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is MGM CS-8120 on the 1st Press MGM label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!! Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), STUNNING shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in SUPERB condition with barely ANY yellowing AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
