Description
This is a great record by Plastic Penny entitled 'Heads I Win - Tails You Lose'. It's an original stereo recording on the UK Page One label (catalogue no. POS 611) and was released in 1970. The music features heavy keyboards and guitar.
OUTER SLEEVE - The flipback sleeve which is laminated on the front is in lovely condition with minor wear on the front and on the rear. There are some minor marks and some creasing. The rear of the sleeve is slightly discoloured but is in fine condition with minimal damage. The edges are in fine condition with some minor wear. The spine shows some very minor wear but the wording along the spine is 100% readable. there is some 'fethering along both sides of the mouth of the sleeve. I have graded the sleeve as Ex-.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a plain white diecut paper type.
RECORD - The record itself looks clean with some minor superficial marks. There is some very minor surface noise over the two sides of the record and there are very occasional pops and clicks on both sides. There is a slight pressing fault on side two which results in some definite surface noise through all the tracks during quiet passages. There are definitely no jumps or skips on any of the tracks. The labels are the textured white Page One type with red wording and both are in fine condition with some spindle marks. Considering its age this record plays very well. There is no damage to the labels on either side. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - POS 611 1Y//1 1 1 1 - side two - POS 611 2Y//1 1 1 1. I have graded the record as Ex-- and I believe that this is very fair.
