ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:    Yes, it is...never in pic sleeve - comes in plain white paper sleeve...

'A' side is a vehicle for Phil and his actual singing (read: howling) dog, wherein the dog takes centre-stage in a song sung by Phil, and written by him along with Kimble Rendall and Todd Hunter of XL Capris. But the 'B' side is a way more punk song (written by Hunter and Johanna Pigott also of XL Capris), in keeping with their "My City Of Sydney" period - which is exactly when this was recorded, and the dog barely features at all - in effect it's a 'lost' early XL Capris recording - the band plays on both sides. Rendall later helped form Le Hoodoo Gurus, whose first recorded performance was backing Phil and his dog live on TV on the Don Lane Show - check out these excerpts:

CONDITION - RECORD:  ( EX- )  Very shiny, with just has a couple of thee tiniest of minor scuffs - plays with a few very minor crackles only.

 

CONDITION - LABELS:  (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...

 

PACKAGING AND MAILING:  Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - packed in a sealed outer polyethylene sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for 30+ years and am proud of my 'no damage' record.
