PLEASED YOUTH "The Doomsday LP" unreleased BUY OUR RECORDS album 1984

Info: Here is my original direct from the soundboard cassette of an unreleased 11 song album by early New Brunswick, New Jersey hardcore punk band PLEASED YOUTH.   This was supposed to be the 3rd LP on the BUY OUR RECORDS label, but when PLEASED YOUTH's original singer Dave Scott's main band ADRENALIN O.D. (A.O.D. drummer) got too busy he had to leave the band.  This record was already recorded (at the same studio that Adrenalin O.D.'s "Wacky Hijinks" LP was recorded at)  and since PLEASED YOUTH got a new singer (Keith Hartel) they ended up shelving the record.  The PLEASED YOUTH album that was finally released in 1986 "Dangerous Choo Choo" is a completely different album.  More melodic and less hardcore.  This unreleased record is early brutal raging Negative Approach meets SSD type hardcore.  What really sets it is the great guitar work by Doug "Sluggo" Vizthum.  This original lineup of PLEASED YOUTH also includes the legendary punk promoter, the late Paul Decolator, Greg Walker, and Andy Skovran who would go on to the popular New Jersey oi band NIBLICK HENBANE.  If you like fast and angry East Coast hardcore you'll love this.
