Description
POINTER SISTERS SEND HIM BACK - ATLANTIC 1970'S PRESSING, OFTEN SOLD AS AN ORIGINAL CONDITION EX
I never grade Mint unless the record is sealed I use the UK Record Collector price guide , but have a Near mint for records that are not sealed and have not been played or played once. I also add + OR - TO give a more detailed grade
The Record Collector Grading System is the standard for evaluating vinyl and sleeves in the UK. It evaluates the sleeve first and the record second. The grades progress from Mint (M), Excellent (EX), Very Good (VG), Good (G), Fair (F), Poor (P), to Bad (B). Here is what the grades signify:
- Mint (M): Perfect. The record is brand new, unplayed, and unmarred. The cover is in pristine condition without any wear or defects.
- Excellent (EX): Shows minor signs of handling. The record has been played but with near-perfect audio quality. The cover may exhibit slight wear or creasing.
- Very Good (VG): Played frequently. The vinyl displays light surface marks and very minor, unobtrusive background noise. The sleeve may feature ring wear, scuffing, or minor seam splits.
- Good (G): Significant wear. Noticeable surface noise is present, and the record may have scratches causing minor pops, though it plays through without skipping. The cover shows heavier wear, ring wear, or seam splits.
- Fair (F): Heavy wear and damage. Audio quality is notably diminished by continuous surface noise, scratches, and potential skips. The sleeve is heavily damaged, torn, or stained.
- Poor (P) & Bad (B): Barely playable to unplayable. Severe scratches and warping. The sleeve is severely damaged or partially destroyed
