Description
GATES OF DAWN GOD 005. The last copy I have for sale.
This is the vinyl version of PORCUPINE TREE's compilation of archived studio material from 1984-1990. It contains almost all tracks from the band's 1st and 2nd full length albums released on cassette only in 1989 and 1991. YELLOW HEDGEROW DREAMSCAPE was first released on CD back in 1994 in very limited quantities.
YELLOW HEDGEROW DREAMSCAPE on vinyl belongs to the fabulous serie of PORCUPINE TREE related releases lovely curated by my friend MICHAEL PIPER for his own GATES OF DAWN label. Unfortunately Michael passed away in April 2008. He is missed.
In 1999, Michael re-released YELLOW HEDGEROW DREAMSCAPE on vinyl. This release differs from the previous CD version (for example, a couple of bonus tracks added). Only 500 copies were pressed on yellow vinyl, and 150 copies on black wax.
In 2005 Michael made an additional limited press of 260 copies on green vinyl. This is one of them.
