POUND OST - Charlie Cuva/Robert Downey Sr. Not On Label (no cat #) Original 1970 private pressing
This is an incredibly rare and desirable blaxploitation LP. It is the soundtrack to the 1970 film Pound. The music is by Charlie Cuva and the lyrics were written by Robert Downey Sr. (who also directed the film). The vinyl looks very clean but it does have some pops and crackles, it's not very many but you will hear them in the quietest parts of the LP. Overall, it plays very nicely and the sound of the music is bright and brilliant - the noise will not detract from your listening experience (It looks VG+ and plays between VG and VG+). The cover is a little dirty and has a 1" stain on the left of the hand stamped title on the cover. All copies of this LP came with hand stamped covers. There are also initials written on the front cover and the start of a seam split on the bottom edge (starting at the spine - see last photo). If you are into rare 70s funk, soul or blaxploitation than you should seriously consider this opportunity. Please have a look at the photos!!!!
