Grade Vinyl: NM         /          Grade Cover: EX

Up for auction is a mega rare original Danish 1st pressing released on Sonet (SLPS 1939). Original orange-purple Sonet label. (see photo). 

LP is graded: NM/EX. Vinyl is an incredible Near Mint, with clean and shiny vinyl, as new. No spindlemarks, probably never played. Cover is graded a strong EX. Only VERY little cornerwear keeps it from a NM grading too. SOC, original pricetag. (see photo)

Povl Dissing is a renowned Danish singer born 27th January 1938 - with a recording career spanning five decades - his breakthrough into a public consciousness in Denmark came in the midsixties, with a couple of unique takes on some classic folk ballads that had the audience bewildered and polarised. In the late sixties and early seventies he played an important part on the danish “beat scene” (ie rock, blues, psychedelic and progressive rock) - releasing this his eponymous rock debut in 1969 - a psychedelic folkrock album in danish - and recordings with Beefeaters and Burnin´ Red Ivanhoe. A monster album.
