The Power Plant - I Can't Happen Without You... 45rpm Single

Format: two-sided Mono 7 inch PROMO Single Speed: 45 rpm

Condition:
Vinyl: VG+ Besides a couple of light paper scuffs, this record is beautiful! Label is very clean to boot! See pictures.

Here's a terrific garage-psych single-- the Power Plant on Diamond Records. You might know the b-side from the essential "Psychedelic Archaeology" CDR series. If you don't, click on the B-Side title above for an MP3 clip. "She's So Far Out, She's In" is described thusly in the liner notes:

"Incredibly catchy garage-pop number that could have been on the Monkees Heaquarters LP. Same song, different version is performed by Billy Fury on another 45 on the United Artists label. Band is a bit of a mystery."


What we do know for sure is that both sides were written by Baker Knight, who has gained infamy recently for his other garage/psych efforts, including the "Hallucinations" single on the recent Warner Bros 60's compilation and of course a classic track by the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band! This guy got around...!
The A-Side is more of a pop number and not as interesting, but the b-side more than makes up for it!


This copy is about as clean as they come and is a terrific addition to your garage/psych single collection or perhaps for your DJ set-- the b-side is a really bouncy number-- DON'T MISS OUT!
