PRESALE - Elvis Presley - No. 2 - Vinyl LP 180g Limited Edition
THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL THE RELEASE DATE STATED ON THE LISTING. Release date is subject to change due to production delays, this is common during busy seasons. The complete album + 8 bonus tracks - pressed on limited edition 180g audiophile vinyl. Presley's second LP for RCA, titled Elvis, was released in mono in October 1956 and retitled 'Rock & Roll No. 2' six years later. It is widely regarded as one of the best albums of the 1950's and of Elvis' entire career. Most of the sessions took place in September of 1956 in Hollywood and the album spent four weeks at N 1 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart that same year, making Presley the first recording artist to have two entries go straight to number one in the same year, the second entry being the single Heartbreak Hotel.
