A rare opportunity to own a 1st Press of this sought after record from the late 50s, a Mint copy of which Record Collector's Rare Record Price Guide 2012 had valued at £300.
Record: VG Labels have spindle wear indicating many plays. Marks and numerous light scratches on the vinyl. Audio remains very good with no major deterioration in sound - surface noise is evident with the odd pop but, overall, does not detract from the listening experience.
Sleeve: VG Front laminate has numerous wrinkles especially by the edges. A small part of the laminate is torn but still intact by the sleeve opening. Rear of sleeve has a little tear in the middle of the bottom flipback the left hand side of which has come away from the sealing but could be stuck back down again with a decent adhesive. A bit grubby with some light ringwear in places. Includes, what I assume, is the original polylined inner sleeve which is in EX condition.

A quick addendum in the interest of clarity.... I stated the release year in the title and description as 1958 as this is the year stated on the labels - 'Recording First Published 1958'. I note, however, that the close-up pic has the sleeve print date as 7/59. Also Record Collector has the release year as 1959. So there's a bit of a discrepancy there as to the exact year of release. However, I assume Record Collector's 1959 date is the correct one and as this aligns with the sleeve print date this does, I believe, make this a 1st Press.
