PRESENTING THE FABULOUS RONETTES
FEATURING VERONICA
LONDON HAU 8212
Some people will tell you, possibly with some justification, that this BLACK London label copy is even rarer than the PLUM version, as it was available for a shorter time and after the initial sales rush on the plum version would have died down..... you pays your money and you takes yer choice.
Whatever, this is a very nice copy.
The disc has been played, and there are some paper scuffs visible under a strong light but mostly it's nice and clean. It plays great and am happy to give it an EX. (Maybe EX minus if I was feeling really grumpy but you can't be grumpy after listening to Spector productions in glorious marks of any sort. It sounds superb, and of course in MONO, the way these tracks were meant to be heard. There is no comparison between the sound of a good vinyl pressing of mono analogue material played on decent kit and the clinical and soul-less sound of a digital version - or worse, a hideously compressed MP3 with frequencies removed.
Sleeve is for the most part crisp and clean, although there is some creasing to top right, and the opening edge has a little grubbiness. These can be seen in the pic - (I only use pictures of the actual item for sale, not library pictures).
PAYMENT/TERMS
UK customers please pay by cheque or by Paypal. Overseas customers paypal only please. Please pay within 7 days of the auction's end.
REFUND POLICY
I offer a no quibble refund if goods are not as described. These must be returned in the original packaging within 7 days. I will not, however, get involved in any 'partial refund' scams.
POSTAGE
P&P to a UK address is £2.50, Europe £4.20, USA/JAPAN £6.20. This includes the cost of good quality new packaging.
I regret that I have had to raise my overseas P&P prices a little, to reflect not only increased postage and packing material costs, but also the fact that when you pay by paypal, it takes quite a chunk out of the postage costs as well as the sale price!
INSURANCE is optional and extra.
