E+. "50 R" written in white paint on the label of Love (see illustration). That apart, this is a pristine copy with no visible or audible wear or damage whatsoever and immaculate labels. Bought as mint ex-stock in the USA in the ’40s by a visiting jazz collector from London, preserved (but very seldom played) by him for a quarter of a century, then sold in the ’70s to the present owner, who has played it maybe three times.
