Description

Up for bids is this 10" 78 rpm copy of Brunswick #2809. Pre-War Country/Old Time/Hillbilly by Bill Chitwood and Bud Landress. Titles are "Jerusalem, Mourn" and "Howdy, Bill". Grade E+. No visible imperfections. (see note ). Includes a very nice original sleeve. Beautiful copy.

 

NOTE: This record comes from a group of Brunswick Dealer's Sample records I bought awhile ago. As samples, I have to assume they have been played at least once, although none of them look played. They certainly look like store stock, but I won't describe them as such. They are magnificent copies. You will look a long time to find copies as nice as these.

 

I have been collecting 78 rpm records for over 40 years, and know how to grade. As a matter of fact, I try to be very conservative with grading. I will not sell a poor condition record unless it is VERY rare. Most buyers will be very pleased.
