Description
PRIMAL SCREAM Screamadelica LP from 1991 on the Creation label (CRELP 076).
one of the most definitive albums of the 90s (for me anyway).
this is the first UK pressing - oval hype sticker at top right and the following messages etched into the dead wax:
YOU ONLY GET ONE LINE... DON'T BLOW IT. EQUITY IS KILLING ME... I'LL HAVE A CHEEKY HALF.
records have been cleaned on an Okki Nokki and play tested in full.
both discs have a slight wobble on the turntable - not a full-on warp or anything, just a very slight edge warp when Sides 1 and 3 are playing.
there is no lessening in sound quality.
disc one has some faint hairlines and paper scuffs. disc two just has a couple of faint hairlines.
all tracks play through well.
there's some low pops (ten or eleven max) at the start of Inner Flight and a few low pops at the start of Damaged.
it's a good listen otherwise and these are only minor faults.
i would grade the records as VG Plus.
the gatefold sleeve has shelf wear and corner wear plus rubbing along the bottom edge.
there's a faint varnish mark underneath the oval Screamadelica sticker. i've tried to show this in the pics.
it's only visible when you angle the sleeve.
i would grade the sleeve as GOOD.
so, a few minor faults and some wear to the sleeve but audio-wise this is a nice example to play and enjoy.
record will be carefully packed - i can combine orders for UK buyers...
