Description

THE PRIMATES-45-“Knock On My Door” b/w “She”-Marko Records #M 923-DJ Issue-KillerKool 1966 Long Island NEW YORK Garage-Punk. Most of you know this ULTRA record from the many comps it appeared on over the decades-if not-A side is dual-guitar driven with a “99th Floor” chord progression, guttural lead vocal with competent backups-sort of a rant at the conclusion somewhat like the Raiders’ “Steppin’ Out” where the guitar gets more choppy and loud along with the vocal…B side is of a similar nature, but more like the cryptic New England Teen Scene bands-with sort of folk punk overtones….both sides COOL. Very Cool record.

Condition: Record is Near MINT
Label clean both sides
