PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION PURPLE RAIN 1984 JAPAN 1ST PRESS P-13021 Superb 1ST Japanese Press copy of PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION 'PURPLE RAIN' from 1984. Vinyl is in an as new excellent condition. simply an excellent copy... complete with Japanese language insert a Some early Japanese pressings are as beefy as their US/Euro counterpart pressings and this album is exceptional in sound quality and .. there is a crystal clarity on the higher end notes. ..The sleeve ( typical Japanese sleeve which is hardier than the flimsier US/UK/ Euro sleeves ) is near perfect, spine is tight and full with almost zero damage and the vinyl itself plays beautifully ( only played once ) with no issues AT ALL , the production for import vinyl of that decade is superb Highly likely that this is virgin vinyl as most Japanese records were pressed using high quality “virgin” vinyl that was manufactured exclusively for pressing records. These records are often extraordinarily quiet and have little or no surface noise, allowing the listener a better listening experience. In addition, English-language music titles were usually pressed in fairly small quantities in Japan, meaning all of the discs were likely pressed while the stampers were still fairly new.
Stored in vinyl sleeve only removed for photograph...vinyls are near Mint as is the sleeve....definitely one for Purple completists ...if you havent heard this pressing then you havent heaard the best of Made in Japan...forget remastered CDs...this pressing is where its at !! Dispatched with Ebay Packing only ....tried and tested ( no more 2nd class as they have been consistently poor in delivery and have taken far too long ) If bidding from Russia or Brazil please email first before bidding....and if unsure of international shipping please email for an exact quote to your location Please note that if no contact is made within 3 days I will simply relist, sorry but I have had a couple of bidders who seem to bid with no intention of buying. Contacting is just polite folks...Dont bid, ...then bid and wait 5 days to bid again without contact please...thanks
