(One of the heaviest and most powerful DeeJay-sets of all time...mighty high Prince Far I The Voice Of Thunder delivers 10 killer tunes strictly biblical fashion...riding pop-a-top riddims from various sources...Horace Andy's "You're My Angel", Ronnie Davies "Jah Jah Jahoviah", an aggrovating re-work of "No Man Is An Island" as well as the Upsetter's "Mighty Cloud Of Joy" to name just a few...all killer, no filler...1975 styleee...this was compiled & produced by producer Lloydie Slim (who even recorded Tappa Zukie's gorgeous cut to "Jah Jah Jahoviah"called "Judge I O Lord")...sleeve & label wear what looks like Lloydie Slim autographs...don't ask me why they are to be found here and if I can give a guarantee for their originality...I can't....but I'm convinced these are the original autographs and should high-light any reggae-collection...besides the fabulous music...which come as 1st re-press on the UK Carib Gems-imprint (you already know about the connection/collaboration of Carib Gems & Adrian Sherwood, don't you?)...so wake up out of your slumber and answer your call...don't miss out!)
ORIGINAL 1st RE-PRESS from 1980s
(I was asked about distinguishing marks: The original 1970s press' sleeve - which is ridiculously rare - has a brighter, light-red coloured sleeve and stronger contrasts, the color "white" tends to be white-ish [w/ a touch of red] while the re-release's "white" is somewhat grey-ish, so to speak. Btw.: So far I didn't find any pic of the original sleeve on the net. But the easiest and definite way to distinguish the first press from the 80s re-press is the dead-wax matrix: The original press has a printed matrix while the re-release has a hand-written one. You may doubt and I'll gladly admit that I normally don't know something about anything, as it has been witnessed many times - but be assured, at least in this case I know what I'm talking 'bout. Selah. It is not my intention to mislead the avid collector.)
FEATURE: CREATION VIBES
WAX 'N' SOUND: ex-/ex-, wax looks fine, shiny, plays thunder & lightning-styleee w/ heaviest punch & tuffer tuff sound, has light occasional crackle, a few clicks/pops to be expected!
LABEL: both sides show hardly any wear, NO writings/markings EXCEPT for Lloydie Slim-autograph, NO damages, just perfectly perfect!
SLEEVE: ex- condition, very very light wear only, 2 pin-needle holes upper right corner, light wear on spine and corners, looks great, NO writings EXCEPT for Lloydie Slim-autograph, NO damages!

Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality!
I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often).
Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
