Here for sale is an original 1984 PRINCE and the Revolution PURPLE RAIN 1st European pressing in amazing EXCELLENT+ condition manufactured in Germany with all the Inserts, etc.

It is a first pressing (even though its A2/B2), with the run off dead wax matrixes R/S Alsdorf 925110 1 A2 XXXXX

and R/S Alsdorf 925110 1 B2 6X please see more details below.

For a first European pressing of Purple Rain (catalog number 925 110-1), the matrix numbers in the dead wax should be R/S Alsdorf 925110-1 A2 on Side A, and R/S Alsdorf 925110-1 B2 on Side B.

These initial European editions were manufactured in Germany for the European market, though they often feature UK-specific catalog identifiers on the sleeve.

Additional things to look for in the runouts to confirm a first pressing:"R/S Alsdorf": Stamped into the wax.Variant stamps: You may also see Allied 'ɑ' stampers or "T" (Teldec-Press) within the runouts.Additional etchings: The A-side matrix may end with specific stamper codes (e.g., XXXXX) and the B-side usually ends with B2.

There is hardly any background crackle or static, plays ALMOST like it's fresh out of HMV in 1984, please listen to the video clip.

Vinyl Condition: EXCELLENT one or two very light surface marks which in no way effect the sound quality and no spindle wear. Hardly been played. Sound quality excellent with minimal to no background static even between tracks.

Cover sleeve Condition: EXCELLENT+ comes in its original shrink wrap which has been opened. Cardboard sleeve appears in excellent to near mint condition.
