Excellent, guaranteed original, 1968 IOWA Private-Pressing Garage Punk/Psych LP by THE SOUND OF THE REIGN entitled "Reigned Out" on Wilber (Fredlo) Records (#6818, Stereo). One of the RAREST, almost unknown albums of all time (less the 10 known copies!). This album is awesome with 11 killer cuts including a Monster version of "Purple Haze," " Hey Joe," and "Baby Let Me Bang Your Box," among many others! This copy came from a band member's relative - and has an explanation to go along with it: one of the tunes that the sexually ambitious college teens did on side A is the often-covered "I Wanna Do It." To add a little provocativeness to the song the guys spell out "F • U • C • K" during the song. The guys relative that received this copy was deeply offended - so much so - that they literally scrathed through the song's track in the vinyl. Making it 80% unlistenable - so sad! The first copy of the RARITY sold for $5000 several years ago, a second copy was currently listed at $3000. A rougher copy solid for over $1000 not too long ago. Very low reserve of $500 on this one. Condition = solid VG++ (very light wear, no seam splits, in Shrink Wrap!), Record = solid VG (light paper scuffs - plays through fine though (except the one song)!, LISTEN TO AN ACTUAL SOUND CLIP OF TWO DIFFERENT CUTS!).
