on the airborn/hartsong records label, stereo pressing, catalog # HK-5008, recordings are from 1973, released in 1979.   10 tracks.  from the back cover:  "the group aslan was formed in spring arbor, michigan in the fall of 1972.  the name comes from the protagonist of c.s. lewis' children's classic 'the chronicles of narnia'.   this collection of ten songs recorded in atlanta, georgia during the spring of 1973, serves as the group's only production.  the original members of aslan are jeff roley on drums, scott roley on guitar and vocals, ted kallman on guitar and vocals, linda kendall on percussion and vocals, greg buick on keyboards, and martin vipond on bass.  aslan toured regionally in the mid-west throughout indiana, illinois, ohio, and michigan.  they were featured in concert halls, coffee houses, supper clubs, churches and colleges.  the group reformed as 'stillwaters' in january of 1974 and disbanded later in that year."   after further research i believe this to be a second press, still quite rare.   see my other auctions for the albrecht & foley s/t lp as well.  cover is VG+, with some light seam wear, and some rub/ring wear, and a silver star sticker in upper right corner.   vinyl is NM-, in beautiful condition.  check my other auctions this week for many more great psych, private, rock,  prog,  folk,  xian & other miscellaneous freak-outs........lots of great stuff this week, buy a bunch and save on shipping.

all records are original pressings unless noted......i do not sell current reissues.  please ask any questions early, as i am not always by my computer near the end of auctions.    buyer pays shipping, see rates below.   all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with record shipped outside of cover when applicable, with two cardboard inserts.   paypal is the only accepted form of payment at this time.

i have to state that i will ship for $4.00 according to new ebay rules, but i do not like to use media rate, or first class domestic either....both take far too long, and items have sometimes gone missing as well.   if you absolutely have to save $3.00 on shipping, then that is what you'll get, media rate for $4.00, including delivery confirmation....to me, as a seller (and a buyer, for that matter) it takes too long, and i end up with too many questions ( 'where is my record?'   'when did you ship it?'  etc, etc).   i strongly urge you to use priority......you can avoid a heavy box of books being placed on your fragile record, and you'll get it so much faster.    i prefer you use priority shipping with the US, and the cost is $7.00, including delivery confirmation.   first class airmail shipping to CANADA is also $7.00.   first class airmail shipping to MOST OF EUROPE, JAPAN & AUSTRALIA is $14.00.   priority airmail shipping is $24.00 worldwide, and is required on all shipments to both ITALY and FRANCE.   I DO NOT SHIP to SOUTH AMERICA or MEXICO at this time, NO EXCEPTIONS.   i will gladly combine items to save on shipping, i try not to make ANY money on shipping costs, i typically lose money honestly.   payment is expected within 10 days of auction end.   thanks for looking, and good luck.
