Rare private Ohio LP promoting an Akron restaurant house band! Mix of lounge staples (including Bad Bad Leroy Brown – mis-tiled as Big Bad Leroy Brown – with a nice funky rare groove guitar solo). But two funk cuts make this coveted - first, a surprisingly tasty and long (more than 6 ½ minute) version of “Shaft” with a funky and mellow extended flute/organ passage in the middle, followed by fuzzy psych guitar solo. Second - and what makes this a “must-have” - is the original tune, “0-1-0-1” – a Hammond-fueled funky groover with blistering brass, which was comped by Licorice Soul in 2004.

I grade all of my records on a conservative scale visually (SS, NM, NM-, VG+, VG, VG-, and G). All items are 100% original pressings unless otherwise noted. I will ship internationally to most countries but shipping charges are not $4 and any item that is $50 USD or more shipped international will have to be sent registered mail which is $12.95 USD on top of shipping cost, no exceptions. International shipping is dependent on the actual cost of shipping from the post office. Please do not pay if you are international before I send you an invoice. Payment is due within 3 days.
NOTE I WILL NOT SHIP TO ITALY OR FRANCE. IF YOU PLACE A BID I WILL CANCEL. Sorry, too many customs issues.
I ship in very sturdy record mailers with 2 solid cardboard stiffeners and tape very well with shipping tape. Shipping is a little heavier because of this but I choose safety over cheaper cost for shipping. I also always separate the record from the cover during shipping to prevent splits unless item is already sealed. Any LP that is $50 USD or more I give the royal treatment with protective plastic sleeves for the LP and cover. All 45's come in a plastic protective sleeve no matter the final auction. Please don't hesitate to ask any and all questions as I am quick to answer. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
