Description

on the a major records label, stereo pressing, recorded in 1976, this is the second press, released by the band in 1981.  8 tracks.  regarded by many as one of the best american private press lps, this record is so good it takes your breath away.  full of jangly guitar riffs a la byrds merge with mid 70's prog finesse, soaring male and female vocals......there's really nothing else like it.   produced by the legendary jim spencer (of major arcana fame, not to mention his lovely solo lp's as well).  this second press was done by the band directly from the masters, so the sound is perfect.  same as the original, which was titled "inside the shadow", just with a different cover.  the original is nearly impossible to find, and this one is getting more and more difficult to acquire as well.  cover is strong VG+, with just a hint of ring and seam wear, and a tiny dent in upper seam.  vinyl is NM-, with one light paper scuff, a beautiful pressing of this rare and awesome lp.  vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.  check my other auctions this week for many more great psych, private,  prog,  folk,  xian & other miscellaneous freak-outs........lots of great stuff this week, buy a bunch and save on shipping.
