Description

This LP is on the UK Regal Zonophone label and is entitled 'A Salty Dog' by Procol Harum.

It's a stereo recording and the catalogue number is SLRZ 1009. It was released originally in 1969. It is a rare record.

OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is laminated on the front and back and is in fine condition. The front shows very minor wear and minimal creasing. The rear sleeve again shows some very minor wear and is in fine condition with minimal discolouration. There is some minor 'feathering' along the mouth of the sleeve. The edges and spine are in fine condition with just the occasional crease. The wording along the spine is 90% readable. I've graded the sleeve Ex--.

INNER BAG - Plain white paper type.

RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It appears to have been played a few times. There are some superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some minor surface noise and some one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.

LABELS - The labels are the original Regal Zonophone red type with silver wording. There are some spindle marks on both sides around the hole. There is some minor ball pen writing at the top of the label on side one. The labels are in fine condition with no damage. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - Y CARX 57 - 1 (stampers 1 G) - side two - YCARX 58 - 1 (stampers 1 L). I've graded the record as Ex which I believe is very fair.

I try to grade everything as accurately as possible and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.

THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS ITEM.
