PROCOL HARUM Grand Hotel
NM/NM Used Audiophile Vinyl Record
Record label: Sweet Thunder Edition 15
1973. Audiophile Master Edition is mastered at half-speed from the original stereo master. Custom pressed on Teldec high quality, high density, virgin vinyl by RCA/Victor of Japan.
Condition: Record cover has no wear visible. Bottom left corner is stubbed slightly and spine seems to be yellowing a bit but, otherwise, like new. There are no spindle marks on the label. Vinyl is clean, shiny and plays like new.

Sweet Thunder was an audiophile label specializing in re-issues of the late seventies, early eighties. Half-Speed Mastered only from First Generation analog masters, Sweet Thunder paid meticulous attention to detail and sonic nuances like few other high end labels of the era. Their releases are characterized by the massively extended dynamic and frequency range, near-compulsive attention paid to the integrity of the pressing and highest quality of the material: only the "virgin" (audiophile-grade) vinyl was used, and most LP albums were pressed at RCA/Victor and/or Warner-Pioneer corporations of Japan... both known for extremely fine sounding records.
