Item :
PROCOL HARUM ~ PROCOL HARUM LP
Original 1967 U.K. mono pressing released on the Regal Zonophone label LRZ 1001.
Description :
Very rare and hard to find psychedelic classic.
After "A Whiter Shade of Pale" became a #1 hit, Southend's finest, Procol Harum, set out to consolidate their studio success by touring. Their live debut was opening for Jimi Hendrix in 1967.
The group's follow-up single, "Homburg", with a lineup change of former Paramounts B.J. Wilson on drums and Robin Trower on guitar, reached #6 in the UK, but was not a hit in the USA. The band's debut LP Procol Harum was recorded soon between the two hit singles, but was held back until early 1968 and released in mono and phony stereo, which was unusual by that time.
Condition ~ Vinyl :
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with just the faintest of wear and plays superbly throughout.
Condition ~ Sleeve :
The stunning laminated flip-back sleeve is in NEAR MINT shape with just very light overall wear but no splits, tears or writing.

Both labels are nice and clean.
