Description

Prokofieff    SYMPHONY No5
Jean Martinon conducting the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra
RCA Living Stereo  LSC - 2272 Shaded dog label Pressing  Side one 1S Side two 1S  Original USA issue Recording first published in 1959
The sleeve front has a small dint in the bottom right corner otherwise is in beautiful condition with virtually no sign of wear or rubbing likewise the original MIRACLE SURFACE sticker
The back has a name written in blue ink in the top right corner who I assume was the original owner (please see photos) other than this it is clean and tidy.
The record is in lovely condition with no apparent visible marks and appears to be little or very carefully played and is both clean and shiny.
The record sounds superb with very quiet surfaces and outstanding staging, transparency and dynamics. The bass detail and extentsion is excellent and in every respect it trounces my Decca Eclipse reissue. All in all a lovely copy of one of the great DECCA /RCA recordings.     I can combine postage at cost on all items.
