Description

Here’s a very special copy of Elvis Presley’s 2nd LP. It’s a promo copy with a “Not For Sale- For Demonstration Only” rubber stamp on the back. (Also, see my other auction this week for a promo copy of Elvis’ 1st LP from the same collection!) This album came from the collection of a radio station DJ. It bears the marks of the very first run of pressings of this LP from 1956- both matrix numbers end in a “1S”. The vinyl is very nice, grading VG++, just a few light lines away from Near Mint. The over has partial seam splits on top and bottom, and some creasing in the upper left. The labels have some spindle marks. Very rare LP!
