Description

Promotional copy of the classic 'God Save The Queen' by the Sex Pistols, catalogue number Virgin VS181.

There are no markings on the record to differentiate it from the standard release. My guess is that Virgin sent out copies from stock. However it is in its original promo record mailer, which is very rare to find. The mailer has two franked postage marks on it dated 6th September 1977. It is also stamped with a US Customs New York stamp, and has a green customs sticker on the back stamped 'Promotional Records'. The mailer has a printed address label from Virgin Records in Portobello, London.

Visually graded:
vinyl - excellent condition
sleeve - excellent conditon
mailer - very good condition
