Matrices A2//B3 - so very early   Sandy Dennys first appearance, though on the back sleeve she's listed as Alexandra Elene MacLean Denny   The record is an EX, a few light surface marks but nothing of concern, labels are clean and free from writing, theres a little spindle wear but not a great deal.   Test played:   Side 1 has a litle crackling to the intro and very beginning of Fotheringay and very slightly on the outro/ between tracks 1 & 2. Tracks 2 & 3 fine.
Track 4 is very quiet blues / slide gospel , theres a little light crackle here and there, one pop and a couple of light clicks.
Track 5 has the odd very very light crackle, Track 6 again a little crackle and I think one light click.   Side 2 has a couple of clicks on intro but this disappears as the music fades in, first two tracks otherwise fine, there may be a little light crackle
but if so its difficult to tell apart fom the music.
track three does have a few light clicks, track 4 a little crackling though again light and only in the odd place. Track 5, light crackles here and there.
Track 6 fine
When I say light crackle I mean it - theres very little even between the tracks   A superb example of one of the fairports finest hours   Inner sleeve is white poly lined
Outer sleeve is front laminated , laminate side flips at the rear - this is a VG - theres some light creasing and a little ringwear, also some corner wear but nothing serious
The spine is easily readable but a little rounded with a few light creases.
Interestingly the album title doesnt appear on the spine, just the name of the band and the Island reference number   Tracks are as follows;   Fotheringay
Mr Lacey
Book Song
The lord is in this place, how dreadful is this place
No Mans Land
I'll keep it with mine   Eastern Rain
Nottamun Town
Tale In Hard Time
She moves through the fair
Meet on the ledge
End of a holiday
