Description
This is an EX / EX copy of this UK VINYL LP by FLAMING YOUTH - "ARK 2" - released on FONTANA Records - STL 5533 in 1969 in STEREO. This is a nice copy of this much sought after LP/ The triple gatefold non-laminate sleeve still looks fine, the stained glass 'window' being totally intact and looking great when viewed against the light. It's positon, taking up most of the front cover, leaves the rest of the card rather weak and oftenn copies of this LP are toen - this one is completely intact! The black areas around the 'window' has lost a little colour in a couple of colours and there is an area of colour loss at the bottom r/h corner, but as you can see form the picture it looks fine and I feel a strong EX as it has survived so well. The rest of the fold out sleeve is also great. I also include a cutting from a magazine some years ago, that has a fantastic colour press shot of the band with Phil Collins and a full head of youthful hair, at the front! Interestingly it is great to hear his voice take a few bars lead on "Changes" - he sounds great! The disc plays very well with no clicks bumps or jumps and is a very strong EX. The black FONTANA labels are also fine. A really nice copy of this hard to find LP, with the PICTURE WINDOW in great shape!
