Description

No idea how to describe this weard and wonderful album. Not many like this out there. I picked it up at a car boot sale a few years ago, been a big Billie Holiday fan, after getting it home and having time to read the cover notes, I realised it was a little bit different. Let's deal with the Billie holiday part first. The album is a double Lp the second vinyl record are taken from live recordings from a time when Billie Holiday could not legally work due to a retraction of a police work card. Made up of some of her famous tracks and some lesser known and perhaps unique to this press. The first record is a multi artist combination from the sixties psychedelic folk and rock scene. Bands such as " Pearl's before swine, Randy Burns, The fugs and the infamous Charles Manson. A highly politically charged concept album, with many tracks unique to this pressing.  Released as a tester to promote a Dutch Sound Engineer's Onno Scholtze's new innovations of the Stereo sound. Called " ESP is 3D Superstereo ".
