Description
HAL BLAINE - Psychedelic Percussion
Hal Blaine, renown session drummer who drummed on many of the big hits in the 60s, put out his own LPs. This is his 3rd album, a instrumental offering, released in 1967. It is quite out there.
This is a very rare New Zealand pressing on RCA Victor. It wasn't released in Australia, UK or Europe. In fact it wasn't released in many place s in the world.
The cover is covered with Cello-Kraft and still looks nice and glossy. Some ring wear, some marks and small creases. (VG+)
Old Bob Gould's (Sydney book & record dealer) price written in pencil on Side 2 label.
The vinyl looks at least VG+. Some light surface scratches. There are some more noticeable surface scratches and small light scuffs on track 'Love In'. Light scuff on "Kaleidoscope'. Groove marks (want for a better word) that follow the grooves, about 3 inches long. Only noticeable if you look for it. None affect the play from memory. Been awhile since I played this record. I have owned for over 30 years.
Some info. The album was apparently only released in 4 countries in the World: Japan, Chile, NZ and the U.S, according to discogs.
