Description
For sale is a vinyl LP by COUNT FIVE, a San Francisco Bay Area 1960s rock band from San Jose. The title song to this LP, “Psychotic Reaction” is considered “an acknowledged cornerstone of garage rock" and hit the top ten. The album “Psychotic Reaction” was the groups only album and was released in 1966 by Double Shot Records (DSM-1001). Personnel are: John "Mouse" Michalski, (lead guitar), Roy Chaney (bass guitar), John “Sean” Byrne (rhythm guitar & lead vocals), Kenn Ellner (vocals, tambourine & harmonica), and Craig “Butch” Atkinson (drums). The group was known for their Count Dracula stype capes while playing live (see photo on back of cover).
