PUBLIC IMAGE LTD / PIL - METAL BOX INCLUDES 3 12 INCH 45 RPM VINYL RECORDS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION
Public Image LTD (the band formed by John Lyndon after he left the Sex Pistols) released this boxed set in 1979 on UK Virgin Records LTD. The metal box is a circular pressed metal container embossed with "PIL". Inside are 3 12 inch 45 RPM singles which were later re-released as "Second Edition" in a more conventional form.
This is a COLLECTOR'S ITEM and a must have for all PUBLIC IMAGE LTD and JOHN LYNDON fans.
This metal container has wear and oxidation which is seen on most of these containers from aging. The inside is very clean...see pictures.
The records are near mint. I have never played them I bought this used 25 years ago and stored in non smoking air-conditioned house.
All paper dividers and track list are near mint and included ... see pictures
