PUBLIC IMAGE LTD -PIL- METAL BOX- ORIGINAL ISSUE / FIRST PRESS. (Matrix - METAL.1-A.1, METAL.1-B-1, METAL.1-C-1, METAL.1-D-1, METAL.1-E-1 & METAL.1-F-1). I bought this when it was first released in 1979. The records have always been kept in paper sleeves inside plastic record protectors and are in superb condition. The vinyl is as shiny and clean as the day they were bought. There are no visible surface marks or damage apart from one light paper scuff on side A, which does not effect the sound quality adversely. I have just listened to them all the way through and the sound is crisp, clear and clean apart from 4 light clicks on the intro to side A, and one light click in the middle of side A. The vinyl is in EX+ condition. The labels are mint.  The exterior of the metal box has tarnished with age but has no damage. This comes complete with the original track list and paper dividers which are also in EX+ condition. Included in this sale is the front page of Melody Maker from December 8th 1979 and the lyrics from Metal Box printed in another music mag of the same period! Any questions please ask.
