On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Public Image Ltd called "Metal Box" and is an ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Virgin label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY PUBLIC IMAGE LITD'S RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1979 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDITION!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ALL THREE RECORDS ARE IN AMAZING CONDITION AND HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL, THE 'DIVIDERS' & INSERT ARE IN AWESOME CONDITION, AND THE 'METAL TIN' IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND FOR ONCE STILL LOOKS SILVER!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS VIRGIN LABEL, 1ST PRESS FULL SET OF FOUR 'CIRCULAR DIVIDERS', 1ST PRESS 'INNER SHEET' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'METAL BOX' ROUND TIN (WITH 'METAL 1' STICKER ON THE BOTTOM)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Virgin UK 1st Pressing from 1979 and is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is METAL 1 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Virgin label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels to ALL THREE records are in AMAZING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and they show NO evidence of play AT ALL!!!!  In fact the 1 previous owner (who was a record rep) was sent this set direct from the factory in the post - and he never had any interest in playing it!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AMAZING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and ALL THREE records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  And as these records are so VERY clearly UNPLAYED - apart from testing a few brief sections (which played PERFECTLY!), and a VERY close visual examination - I will leave them that way for the winning bidder.  After all, how often do you get an UNPLAYED 1st Pressing of this LP 30 years after it was released?  ALL three records must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  WHAT AN AMAZING SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these record are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come with their ORIGINAL Full Set of four 'circular dividers' which are in MINT condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 'INNER SHEET' INSERT IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION!!!!  The 1st Press 'Metal Box' Round Tin is in SUPERB condition!!!!  For once this tin still gives a GREAT impression of being SILVER - and is NOT grey and tarnished like so many others!!!!  The 'PIL' logo on the front and its surround area is 100% PERFECTLY SILVER with only a few faint finger print traces around the very edges.  The actual edge of the tin ONLY has minor tarnishing, and even the vunerable bottom of the tin - despite having slightly more finger print traces than the top, still gives an impression of being SILVER and NOT grey!!!!  It is certainly by some HUGE distance the most 'Silver' looking Metal Box for this LP I have EVER seen (most are completely grey!)!!!!  The 'Metal 1' sticker on the bottom of the tin is in PERFECT condition, and despite two minor dings to the EDGE ONLY of the BOTTOM of the tin (NONE to the top!) - it still lies PERFECTLY flat and the actual faces themselves have NO DENTS AT ALL and the top is 100% PERFECTLY shaped!!!!  It is certainly a STUNNING 'Metal Box' Tin and way WAY above the norm!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent - and it really is of the UTMOST rarity these days to find one of these tins that still looks 'Silver' as opposed to the usual horrible looking 'Dark Grey' examples you often see!!!!  SUPERB TIN!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
