On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Public Image Ltd called "Metal Box" and is an ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Virgin label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY PUBLIC IMAGE LITD'S RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1979 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION FOR ONCE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ALL THREE RECORDS ARE IN BRILLIANT CONDITION, THE 'DIVIDERS' ARE IN SUPERB CONDITION, THE 'CREDITS' INSERT IS IN STUNNING CONDITION, AND THE 'METAL TIN' IS ALSO IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND FOR ONCE STILL LOOKS SILVER!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS VIRGIN LABEL, 1ST PRESS FULL SET OF FOUR 'CIRCULAR DIVIDERS', 1ST PRESS 'CREDITS' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'METAL BOX' ROUND TIN (WITH 'METAL 1' STICKER ON THE BOTTOM)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Virgin UK 1st Pressing from 1979 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is METAL 1 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Virgin label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels to ALL THREE records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVEN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and ALL THREE records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only a few almost INVISIBLE and absolutely TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK SUPERB!!!!  The records play with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  WHAT A BRILLIANT SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these record are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come with their ORIGINAL Full Set of four 'circular dividers' & 'Credits' Insert which are all in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Metal Box' Round Tin is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition for once!!!!  Incredibly, this tin still gives a GREAT impression of being SILVER - and is NOT grey and tarnished like so many others!!!!  The 'PIL' logo on the front and its surround area is 100% PERFECTLY SILVER with only a few VERY faint tarnishing traces towards the very edges (though these are VERY few and far between).  There is also 2 or 3 traces of the owners named/detail sticker towards the top - though these actually PROTECTED the box (now long since removed) leaving a PERFECT MINT silver colour where they once were.  The actual edge of the tin ONLY has minor tarnishing, and even the vunerable bottom of the tin - IS JUST AS NICE AS THE TOP being almost COMPLETELY SILVER with only 2 or 3 minor tarnishing traces to the VERY edges ONLY!!!!  It is certainly by some HUGE distance the most 'Silver' looking Metal Box for this LP I have EVER seen (most are completely grey!)!!!!  The only other detail to note is a TINY dent to the top edge ONLY - though this really is INCREDIBLY minor!!!!  It is certainly a STUNNING 'Metal Box' Tin and way WAY above the normal grey horrible looking tins you usually see!!!!  The Box must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better - and it really is of the UTMOST rarity these days to find one of these tins that still looks 'Silver' as opposed to the usual horrible looking 'Dark Grey' examples you often see!!!!  BRILLIANT TIN!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
