Description
This Is What You Want... This Is What You Get, Public Image Ltd, Virgin 1984. Legendary radio presenter and journalist John Peel's copy, with catalogue number in his hand to top left hand corner of upper panel of sleeve.
Vinyl: Excellent to near Mint. Plays without issue, lightest of paper scratches. No spindle marks at all. Plays through without issue.
Sleeve: Excellent +, nudging near mint, bar Peel's catalogue sticker and slight rubbing to bottom edge and small crease to top edge. Superb condition.
Inner sleeve: Excellent +
From the collection of legendary British radio presenter and journalist John Peel (1939-2004). Peel was instrumental in supporting bands and singers such as The Sex Pistols, Joy Division, Nirvana, The Damned, Queen, The Cure, The Clash, The Undertones, David Bowie, T. Rex others, helping bring them to the awareness of the listening public; his ‘Peel Sessions’ in particular providing a hugely important platform for emerging talent.
Entirely solid provenance can be provided.
