Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Punk classic, released in 1978. Old eBay prices: £79 + £62 + £58 + £56. Very clean original first German pressing in different picture sleeve and with the A-side’s title misprinted as ‘Publik Image’ instead of ‘Public Image’ on the front of the sleeve. Here's your chance to get one of the best British punk records ever made. Released on the ‘Virgin’ label in 1978 (catalogue number 100 067). With the band is vocalist Johnny Rotten of the SEX PISTOLS. It's the first and definitely best 7” release by PUBLIC IMAGE aka PIL. The starter includes excellent lyrics like:
You never listened to a word that I said
You only seen me from the clothes that I wear
Or did the interest go so much deeper?
It must have been to the color of my hair

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
